BICE considers that each child possesses important resources which reveal themselves if he can talk freely, be heard with affection and respect and be defended.
We favour this resilience which allows the child to rebuild himself and find back his self-esteem despite the sometimes deep wounds life can inflict him. Our Research and Development unit steadily works on this concept and its relationship with children’s rights and spirituality.
The studies published in the BICE Series, seminars and training courses organized around these issues provide a very rich conceptual frame for our actions.
The Congresses and events organized by BICE stimulate progress of international reflections on children’s rights : lately, the 2011 Congress devoted to the Right to Education for children estranged from their families and socially excluded, or the world Appeal for a new mobilization for childhood in 2009.
The online documentation center allows to mutualize ideas, know-how and good practices, and to broadcast them beyond the members and partners of our Network.
