BICE actions
Children with disabilities should be able to enjoy all the rights guaranteed by the Convention. They should benefit from special medical care, education and training appropriate to their situation in order for them to live a full, decent and worthy life, attain a certain degree of independence and social integration at the highest possible level, and develop to their maximum potential.
BICE’s experience with these children in the CIS and also in Africa dates back to 1992. Numerous actions have been put into place to help parents and day care centers work towards the development and rehabilitation of disabled children, the training of professionals and people in charge of the children and also to make institutions more humane.
