Our areas of expertise

Our projects and programs follow three main principles:

  • promoting children’s rights,
  • supporting especially vulnerable children,
  • preventing exploitation and ill-treatment and acting against them.

BICE makes a strong point of strengthening the resilience capacities in everyone: our projects require the active participation of children, as well as their families and communities.

Our projects and programs generally feature an education component, because we believe that the fulfilment of children’s rights will be achieved by giving a priority to the right to education.

Equal access to healthcare  is also part of our programs and a special attention is paid to this subject.
