Our programs and projects in Africa

In Africa, BICE work in particular on five themes :

Democratic Republic of the Congo

Since 1996, BICE and their partner have set up reception centers in Kinshasa, in the Kananga and in Mbuji-Mayi for vulnerable children. Despite the progressive improvement of the legal framework for the protection of the child, the non-respect of the rights of the child in DR Congo remains a serious concern.

Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast is the first country where BICE intervened and our presence in this country has continued since 1987. We appreciate the trust of the authorities and we are recognized as an instance of prime order in the protection of children.

Mali

BICE has been present in Mali since 1996 in the regions of Mopti, Segou, Sikasso and the capital Bamako. During the conflict in 2012, we strengthened our activities in the protection of the child and led an active advocacy for child victims of the conflict.

Togo

Since 1996, BICE and their partner carry out their projects in Lome, Avoutokpa and Atakpamé.
