"Racing heroes": more than € 8,000 collected for the children of Paraguay!

Sunday, June 16, the 16 BICE team riders met at Parc de Saint-Cloud (Paris) to run the 6 km "Racing Heroes" trail, a sports and solidarity event. Previously, each had collected funds from their entourage to finance a socio-educational center for street children in Paraguay. Debriefing on an eventful day!
At 8:30 am, the sun is shining at the Parc de Saint-Cloud and 16 fluorescent orange capes stand out among the 4,000 runners and 170 associations taking part in the 2013 edition of “Racing Heroes”. A few weeks before our Congress, here is BICE’s invitation to discover the careers of several key players that day, dedicated to get an overview of innovative and effective juvenile justice practices. On June 26, will be held the BICE International Congress on juvenile justice. This event will be marked by the presence of personalities from the world of justice and human rights. Including, among others: His Excellency François ZimerayHis Excellency F. Zimeray was appointed Ambassador for Human Rights at the 13 February 2008 Council of Ministers. He is responsible for developing an action strategy by the French diplomacy on human rights, in line with France’s European and international commitments. June 12th is World day against child labor. In 2013, this day aims to draw national and international communities’ attention to the issue of child labor in the domestic sector.
World day against child labor provides BICE and its partner DDE-CI with an opportunity to organize a series of activities in the towns of Abidjan, Bondoukou, Bouaké and Bongouanou in Ivory Coast from June 11th to 13th.
