Stefan Vanistendael, responsible of BICE research and development unit, recently led a half-day of reflection on the resilience of students coming from difficult backgrounds. Sixty teachers, managers, and directors of scholarly establishments participated in the conference, which was followed by workshops. It was organized in Manchester, UK, on the 15th of February. The half-day was led by Stefan Vanistendael, organized by the Mancep (Manchester Catholic Education Partnership) and was about resilience. This network of Catholic scholarly establishments of the Manchester region includes a dozen institutions, representing one thousand teachers, educators, and directors, and around 10,000 students.
