The main areas of action that BICE is concerned with are children who are victims of abuse and sexual abuse, children exploited through work labor, children living on the streets, children with disabilities, juvenile justice, children in armed conflict, and early childhood.
Our projects and programs are developed according to four main areas:
- Promotion of the Rights of the Child
- Support for especially vulnerable children
- Prevention and intervention against various forms of exploitation and abuse
- Professional training for childhood protection
BICE is particularly concerned with guiding and strengthening each person’s resilience.
All of our projects encourage the active participation of children, their families, and their communities.
Transversely, our projects and programs generally include a section dedicated to education because the realization of children’s rights is largely linked to the right to education.
